Which output format should you pick?
Every converter can export to some or all of these seven formats — here's what each one is actually good for.
Universal compatibility and small file sizes. The safest choice when the destination app doesn't recognize your source format at all.
Lossless, with transparency support carried over from the source file where available. Larger than JPG, but no compression artifacts.
A modern web format that's usually smaller than JPG or PNG at similar quality, with wide support in current browsers.
